Is it Leaking?
Question
You just
finished the 12th and hopefully final controlled condensation run at
the end of a long, hard day. You
collected a meter volume of 7 cubic feet in 30 minutes. You do the final leak check and it comes in
at 0.015 cfm. Which of the following
actions should you now take?
- High-five the probe-holder in celebration of a
job well done and tell him that the beer is on you, it’s Miller Time!
- Write down zero and say that it’s good enough
for diagnostic work…besides, you’re pretty sure it was good until you
bumped the train taking it out of the port.
- Call down to the Job Leader and tell him the bad
news…we’re going to have to do one more run.
