SAFETY STATEMENT FROM THE PRESIDENTThe safety and health of our employees is the highest priority in the operation of our business. Clean Air Engineering and organizations such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) share a common goal of providing safe and healthful working conditions. Safety and health must be a part of every operation. Without question, it is every employee’s responsibility every day. It is the intent of Clean Air Engineering to comply with laws. To do this, we must constantly be aware of conditions in our work areas that can produce injuries. No employee is required to work at a job he or she believes is not safe or not healthful. Your cooperation in detecting hazards and, in turn, controlling them is a condition of your employment. Inform your team leader and/or controlling authority immediately of any situation beyond your ability or authority to correct. The prevention of occupationally induced injuries and illnesses is of such consequence that it must always be given precedence over operating productivity. To the greatest degree possible, CleanAir will provide all mechanical and physical facilities required for personal safety and health in keeping with our high standards. We will maintain a safety and health program conforming to the best management practices of organizations of our type. To be successful, such a program must embody the proper attitudes towards injury and illness prevention not only on the part of leadership and employees, but also between each employee and his or her coworkers. Through our cooperative efforts we can have the best corporate safety program. I am personally committed to a CleanAir safety and health program that will reduce the number of injuries and illnesses to an absolute minimum, not merely in keeping with, but surpassing the best efforts of those operations similar to ours. OUR GOAL IS ZERO ACCIDENTS!William I. Walker, PE
