Environmental Program Information
Since 1990, the company has reduced TRI (Toxic Release Inventory)
air emissions by approximately 85 percent while production has doubled
during the same time frame.
The Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia is engaged to
conduct ongoing studies of the biological condition and ecosystem of the
White River which flows by our plantsite. To date, the Academy has
conducted five studies, beginning in 1974 and most recently in 1996
Results of all these studies indicate the White River continues to
support a healthy aquatic life and that Arkansas Eastman operations have
no detrimental impact on the river.
