Leadership Help

These Project Objective Tools can be used by everyone, especially:

1. A supplier of information for the creation of Project Objectives
2. A creator of the Projective Objective statements
3. A customer of the Project Objective i.e. Field team member
4. A facilitator of the Project Objective process
5. Anyone interested in Project Objectives or similar processes.

It is CleanAir's AIM to be Highest Value.

I believe that if we can WOW our clients on every project we will be successful beyond our wildest imagination.

A WOW project starts with a WOW objective. I know it takes a lot more than good project objectives for success, but I am keeping focus on objectives until we get it.

I have been trying to improve the CleanAir "Project Objectives" for about 10 years. There are some lights in the tunnel but it is still a long and dark tunnel. I am going to keep trying new ideas until we find something that works.

You should be aware of some of the CleanAir tools in place today to help YOU improve the Project Objective process.
As a minimum you should be intimately familiar with the following:

Project Initiation or Sales process tools for gathering the information needed for a good objective.

https://70.89.220.117/~lowerlevel/pmwiki/uploads/TradingCompany /SPINFlowCHart1.pdf
https://www.cleanair.net/tradingcompany/Sales%20Tools/Sales%20Handbook.pdf (this needs to be updated)

Proposal Objective setting process. (Where is this published?)

Project Manager Published Expectations as the CUSTOMER for information from the Sales function. (Where are these published?)

Project Objective Setting Procedure (published both on cleanair.net and on Wiki)
Job Plan Template

Objective Improvement Suggestions & Feedback
(The live version of this is a Google Doc for which you can be invited to Collaborate on.)
(there is also a old copy on https://www.cleanair.net/Toolbox/Value%20Creation%20Tools/Objective_Writting.html)
Which Includes keys:
1. This project root purpose - KEY
2. This purpose root benefit - KEY
3. The monetary value of this benefit - NPV
4. Quality
5. Improving our relationship
6. Becoming a Partner
7. Increasing client bottom line - NPV
8. Reducing client risk - NPV
9. Environmental benefit

Proposal Objectives should address as many of the above requirements as possible.

Field Team Leader's Published Expectations as the CUSTOMER for information from the Sales function. (Where are these published?)

Field Job Log as it relates to Project Objective. (See Job Log Procedure on Wiki and on cleanair.net)

Project Closing Meeting Procedure With Client - Sales - PM as it relates to Project Objective

The next new tool is a Live Feedback on the Project Objective Process. I will publish the criteria and welcome your help in any way you would like to contribute. Watch the Wiki News for Updates on this Audit.
