Setting up Leak Check Parameters

DelayLeakCheck : Is the time that unit waits after it hits the target vacuum before it starts the actual leak rate count. The time is in seconds and can be set via PDA ->Maintenance->System Settings.  The max time is 3 minutes, but essentially you can use larger values if you edit the INI file directly.
 

Delay Step Increases: Is the delay in milliseconds between each increase in leak valve position. The goal is to wait long enough to allow the vacuum to settle before continuing to change the valve position. 200ms has worked in the past. A change in this time may also require a change in LeakValveStep.

LeakValveStep: Percent increase in leak valve position after each DelayStepIncrease.
 

 Example for Short HSL

• LeakValveStep = 0.0500000
• DelayStepIncrease = 200.000000
• DelayLeakCheck = 90.000000

 Example for Long HSL

• LeakValveStep = 0.0360000
• DelayStepIncrease = 275.000000
• DelayLeakCheck = 540.000000
